SELAR is the world’s first solar-sailing polar expedition vessel - a 70-metre, six-deck masterpiece of clean technology and Scandinavian design. Built in 2026 to navigate the most remote and fragile ecosystems on Earth, she operates with a 90% lower emissions footprint than comparable vessels. For just 26 guests, this is Svalbard on a scale few ever experience. Nine nights aboard S/Y SELAR, exploring wherever the ice, wildlife and conditions lead - from remote fjords and immense glacier fronts to the edge of the pack ice.

A committed animal and ocean advocate, Ross chose to go beyond lending his name to conservation. He joined Sea Shepherd on the ground in the Faroe Islands, supporting its campaign around the controversial pilot-whale hunt.
His philosophy is simple: don’t just lend your name. Show up.
