As founder of dmAFRICA and dmXPLORATIONS, he combines human insight, extraordinary access, and visionary exploration - driven by the belief that true luxury lies in meaning, connection, and discovery.

Creative strategist, relationship builder, and storyteller crafting exceptional travel experiences through strategic partnerships, thoughtful curation, and meticulous execution. As Head of Global Partnerships, Sara leads relationships with leading travel advisors, private networks, family offices, and global collaborators, combining a deep understanding of personalised travel with meaningful human connection.

With a background spanning theatre, the arts, wellbeing, and strategic coaching — alongside years spent travelling extensively and living in Kenya and Tanzania — she brings emotional intelligence, creativity, and cultural sensitivity to every experience she helps shape. Drawn to places that spark wonder and genuine connection, Sara believes travel is at its most powerful when it expands horizons, awakens curiosity, and creates meaningful, lasting impact.

Dan Heighes is General Manager at dmXPLORATIONS, bringing more than 25 years of experience leading productions, expeditions, and complex operations around the world. His background spans international film production, life on private superyachts, and four expeditions with Raleigh International - experiences that shaped his ability to thrive in remote, high-pressure environments where adaptability and precision are essential.

Throughout his career, Dan has built and led teams in some of the world’s most challenging locations, overseeing intricate logistics while delivering high-end experiences with calm efficiency and attention to detail. Now focused on experiential travel, he helps create journeys that are immersive, design-led, and intentionally beyond the conventional. At dmXPLORATIONS, every experience is carefully curated, seamlessly executed, and designed not simply to be seen, but genuinely felt.

Raised between Kenya and London and now based in New York, Claire Eastwood has spent more than 15 years designing thoughtful, deeply personal journeys across the globe. With Africa at the heart of her story and expertise, her approach today is rooted in the belief that true luxury lies in access, connection, and authentic experiences.

Jolize is a Senior Travel Designer for dmAFRICA and dmXPLORATIONS, and an experience curator with a distinctive artistic flair and a deep passion for food, wine, culture, and beautifully executed events. Based in Cape Town and widely travelled, she brings refined creativity, operational precision, and an exceptional eye for detail to every journey she designs. With a background spanning luxury travel, publishing, and high-profile events, Jolie creates immersive experiences rooted in authenticity, sophistication, and meaningful connection.

Sean Gibson is a travel photographer and creative with a deep appreciation for design-led hospitality, wild places, and meaningful experiences. Through his work he captures journeys that blend luxury, culture and adventure through a cinematic, detail-driven lens. He strives to record authentic, natural moments that immerse viewers in the experience. He has documented everything from remote safari lodges and private villas to ocean expeditions and off-grid escapes, focusing on uncovering the atmosphere, craftsmanship, and human connection behind every experience.
